Perform, perform, perform has always been at the forefront of Canterbury Ballet's successful training

We work with the students planning open classes to teach the fundamentals of movement, promoting confidence and the joy of movement at the initial levels. In the more senior levels, classical technique with the emphasis on achieving line and form are the founding objectives of our learning outcomes. All levels of students are encouraged to achieve strength and flexibility. A body that doesn't have either of these qualities we believe is, in the first instance, unhealthy and in the second instance unable to dance the steps and make the shapes required of a dancer. So these qualities are essential in being able to dance. Examinations offered in the Royal Academy of Dance Major Syllabi and in the Grades and Majors of the BBO Syllabus. Students are also prepared for National and International Competitions.
